Logistics

The VDFP Logistics Division is the driving force behind the deployment and mobility of vital training resources across the Commonwealth. They manage a fleet of training props and trailers used to support funded training events, ensuring that first responders receive hands-on, real-world training to prepare for any situation.

Beyond transportation, they also design and engineer specialized trailers that provide cutting-edge practical training scenarios, equipping firefighters and emergency personnel with the tools they need to excel in critical response efforts.

More Than Training

The VDFP Logistics Division isn’t just about training—it’s also a critical component of emergency response operations across the Commonwealth. They provide support for the Virginia Emergency Operations Center (VEOC), ensuring that localities have the resources necessary in times of crisis.

Additionally, the division plays a vital role in technical and AV support for stakeholder conferences, helping facilitate seamless event execution by providing projectors, screens and essential equipment. Their work ensures that both emergency preparedness and critical discussions have the tools necessary for success.
