The Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) plays a crucial role in coordinating fire services education and training programs.   

These programs are designed for the fire and emergency response community, the public, law enforcement, and industry professionals, all with the aim of protecting the commonwealth against the loss of life and property. 

VDFP is structured into seven specialized divisions, each headed by a dedicated Division Chief. This organizational structure ensures that each aspect of fire and emergency services is expertly managed and supported, fostering a comprehensive approach to public safety and emergency response.
